This unit of study builds knowledge and understanding of the various government funded employment programs available and how students can help their client’s access appropriate resources to aid their successful career transition.

Content:

Topics explore the major government funded employment initiatives across different countries (from the USA and Canada to Australia and South East Asian countries) dealing with career education, unemployment, re-employment, skill shortages and aging workforce interventions.

The unit also looks at strategies to assist clients access and utilise resources effectively.
