Aims & Objectives:

This unit of study aims to introduce various software process improvement frameworks to students.

Learning Objectives
By the end of this unit, students should be able to
• Explain the importance of software process improvements in delivering quality software.
• Discuss contemporary issues in software process improvement.
• Compare and contrast various software process improvement frameworks such as CMMI and ISO 15504.
• Adopt and adapt various software process improvement frameworks for their own uses.
