Aims & Objectives:

At the completion of this unit, students should be able to:
  • Demonstrate a knowledge of the fundamentals of port structural design
  • Analyse basic port structures
  • Apply relevant codes of practice and guidelines
  • Utilise a systems approach to structural design of port facilities
