At the completion of this unit, students will be able to: Identify and understand the legal issues that impact upon business decisions made in the marketplace Recognise the opportunities the law provides to obtain a competitive advantage Demonstrate the essential knowledge needed to ensure compliance with the laws that regulate the marketplace To explore the ethical dimensions involved in the marketing of goods and services Think critically and analyse legal issues Recognise and synthesise multiple points of view
Lecture (2 hours), Tutorial (1 hour) Lectures are designed to inform and increase the legal knowledge of students through real world business law cases. Tutorials provide an opportunity to apply knowledge to real world business law problems, with discussion helping to develop problem-solving skills and to form logical, structured arguments, from multiple viewpoints, to reach balanced and supportable conclusions.
