The graduate certificate programs form the first year of the Master of Business Management .

Aims & Objectives:

This unit aims to provide students with an understanding of the impact of leadership on the change process and its effect on people management and organisational behaviour, design and culture.

The aims of this subject are to:
  • Understand the relationship between organisational culture, innovation and change readiness
  • Participate in organisational change analysis and change planning
  • Understand the process of change management from a leadership perspective
  • Understand the leader's role in preparing for, implementing, managing and evaluating change

Teaching Methods:

Lectures, guest speakers, industry visits, case study analysis, online delivery.

Assessment:

Individual assignment/report 30-50%

Case-based project 30-50%

Group-based online discussion 10-30%
