Introduction to Entrepreneurship

At the conclusion of this unit students will be able to:

Describe what entrepreneurship is and how it impacts the economy
Recognise the risks and rewards of entrepreneurship
Understand the challenges and the motivations faced by an entrepreneur or an entrepreneurial team
Analyse the characteristics of a successful entrepreneur
Present an evaluation of an entrepreneurial activity
Outline a proposal for an entrepreneurial project

Lecture (1 hour), Seminars (1 hour), Tutorials (1 hour)

Individual Assignment (30%), Participation (20%), Preparation for Seminars (20%), Group Project (30%)
