A unit of study in the Bachelor of Business, and an elective in the Bachelor of Technology (Aviation)/Bachelor of Business, and Bachelor of Technology (Air Transportation Management)/Bachelor of Business. Note: Students should not undertake this unit if they have completed HBH223.
At the completion of this unit, students will be able to: Understand national, regional and organisational cultures and diversity, and their impact on International business and managementUnderstand, reflect, and apply theoretical models that will demonstrate a relationship between International HRM and Global CompetitivenessIdentify and explore issues of social responsibility and ethics and their implications for human resource management policies and practices in the international environmentEnhance research based knowledge in the area of HRM in the global environmentDevelop people management skills for International Business operationsApply critical analytical skills both individually and in teams
