A unit of study in the Graduate Diploma of Commerce (International Business) (Stage 2) or Master of Commerce (International Business) (Stage 3) and the Master of Commerce (International Business) Global Leadership Program
This unit should provide students with the skills and knowledge to develop a new venture either within an organisation or from the ground up.At the completion of this unit, students will be able to: Have an understanding of innovation and entrepreneurship and how it relates to international business. Demonstrate exposure to international entrepreneurial/innovation models from case studies. Implement and adapt tools to apply such behaviour to their own workplace. Develop an integrative assignment to develop a business plan for a new international venture. This unit provides an opportunity for the student to be able to demonstrate a culmination of all their past learning in the Graduate Certificate. Work effectively in an entrepreneurial team environment.
Classroom, and online delivery, via a combination of presentations, discussions, case studies, practical activities and, where appropriate, experiential activities. Incorporating ongoing innovative entrepreneurship teaching pedagogies.
