At the completion of this unit students should be able to:
  • Graphically present design concepts;
  • Undertake visual research;
  • Utilise conceptualisation and representation skills;
  • Use problem-solving skills specific to the practice of interior design;
  • Apply a set of digital skills to a designed project;
  • Develop and present a digital project.

Teaching Methods:

Projects will be conducted within a studio-based learning environment with ongoing project development and assessment tasks. Methods may include: formal lectures, discussions of readings, precedent studies and their relationships to design research, and seminar presentations. There will also be occasional use of computer laboratories for seminar presentations and software tutorials.
