This unit of study provides the knowledge and skill sets required to assist third age clients overcome barriers to successful learning, decision making and transition management.

Content:

Topics cover the different social and psychological processes that require management in successful retirement transition planning (including meeting the expectations of self and others).

The unit also examines the practical strategies in assisting third age clients in finding and gaining employment.
