At the completion of this unit, students will be able to: Demonstrate an understanding of the changing nature of business and the implications on the workforceUnderstand and apply the relevant HRM theories, models and frameworks in a business environmentDemonstrate the use of research skills that are relevant to enable self-directed learningDevelop awareness of the place of Australia in the global economyDevelop and apply research instruments to investigate HR strategies in organisationsIdentify the impact of strategy and structure for the business environmentCritically analyse the contemporary literature and issues relevant to Human Resources Management and apply this to contemporary organisations
