At the completion of this unit, students will be able to:

Understand the nature and strategic importance of human resource development in the achievement of an organisation’s business objectives, productivity, quality and people outcomes
Develop an awareness of theories of human resource development including investigation, design, delivery and evaluation
Develop an awareness of approaches of human resource development including investigation, design, delivery and evaluation
Begin developing training delivery skills through the actual experience of delivery

Lecture (2 hours), Tutorials (1 hour)

Assignment (Individual) (40%), Tests (40%), Presentation (20%)

Human Resource development evaluation in relation to reactions, learning, behaviour, organisational results and return on investment
