Aims & Objectives:

The aim of this unit is to facilitate an understanding of some of the essential skills necessary in the modern workplace.

After successfully completing this unit students should be able to;
 
1. Demonstrate an understanding of essential written, oral and presentation skills, communication and teamwork.
2. Explain and discuss the complexities of human behaviour and communication in organisations,
3. Identify principles of change management, conflict resolution and cultural diversity.
4. Explain and discuss the application of information technology and commonly used office software suites in the workplace.
5. Describe some introductory aviation human factors concepts and illustrate their importance in the aviation environment.
