Aims & Objectives:

• Demonstrate knowledge of organisational management and fundamental business strategies and apply techniques to achieve successful business outcomes
• Apply supply chain management techniques and Porter’s value chain principles to business situations
• Demonstrate knowledge of fundamental computer hardware and apply that knowledge to produce hardware configuration specifications for a business context
• Demonstrate knowledge of various desktop and server operating systems and be able to explain the fundamental differences between them
• Demonstrate knowledge of fundamental networking principles and design and apply that knowledge to produce a network design model for a simple business problem
• Demonstrate knowledge of Work Flow Modelling techniques
• Demonstrate knowledge of various UML diagrams, specifically System Sequence Diagrams and Class Diagrams, Activity Diagrams and Use Case Diagrams, and identify their components.
