Learning OutcomesStudents who complete this unit of study should be able to: Identify the motivation, development, and implications of Enterprise Systems on an organisationExplain why processes are important in organizationsDemonstrate understanding of the organizational processes and transaction processing systems found in traditionally-structured organizations, and how these may be enhanced and enabled through appropriate application of Enterprise SystemsDemonstrate how to document business processesExplain the concept of business process (re)engineering (BPR) and its facilitation of the implementation of Enterprise SystemsEvaluate how enterprise software can support organizational processes and organisational performanceDemonstrate an understanding of the impact of integrated information systems on an organisationDemonstrate an understanding of the core defining components of an Enterprise System and the business benefits derived from each. All students will gain hands-on experience using SAP.
