Aims & Objectives:

At the conclusion of this unit students will be able to:
  • Identify the types of corporate entrepreneurship
  • Explain the impact of corporate entrepreneurship on company performance
  • Develop strategies for corporate venturing
  • Communicate corporate venturing strategies
  • Assess the impact of corporate culture on corporate entrepreneurship
  • Identify barriers to corporate entrepreneurship and propose strategies to overcome them

Teaching Methods:

Lecture (1 hour), Case Study Seminars (1 hour), Tutorials (1 hour)

Assessment:

Individual assignment (25%), Participation and case studies (25%), Team project – business analysis (50%)
