Aims & Objectives:

At the completion of this unit, students will be able to:
  • Understand the difference in comparative regional business and industry environments
  • Be familiar with both the historical and current development in trade for Europe, the Americas and Asia
  • Understand and describe the differences that exist in cross-cultural business contexts
  • Exhibit culturally sensitive attitudes and have respect for multiple points of view
 
 

Teaching Methods:

Lecture (2 hours) and Tutorials (1 hour)
Lecture/seminars and case study presentations will be used to introduce the topics and resources, demonstrate concepts, and provide a forum for demonstration, discussion and questions.

Assessment:

Individual case study (15-25%), Test (15-25%), Participation (10-20%), Group project (35-45%)
