Practical Examination: 100% Training for the CPL (A) and MECIR (A) is competency based and while progressive assessment is recorded in the training syllabus the licence and rating is granted on successful completion of the appropriate flight test. Note: It is a CASA requirement that the student has successfully passed the CASA IREX Theory exam prior to undertaking the MECIR flight test, and all of the CASA CPL theory exams prior to undertaking the CPL flight test. Both flight tests form the basis of the practical exams for this unit.
