After successfully completing this unit, you should be able to:Understand the business environment in the Asian region and an ability to recognise and analyse the factors unique to Asia in a globalized environmentAssess the potential business opportunities, competition and threats in doing business in the Asia-Pacific regionUse the skills developed in researching case studies to update normative knowledge of the region to make business decisions and to present findings in a group oral report and written consultancy report

Issues that influence business in the Asia-Pacific such as: Corporate social responsibility and ethicsManagement, globalization and regional integrationPolitical, economic, socio-cultural, technological and legal frameworks will be included in this unit of study.
