A unit of study in the Graduate Certificate of Aviation (Management), Graduate Diploma of Aviation (Management) and Master of Aviation (Management).

Aims & Objectives:

To provide a comprehensive background to the legislative requirements, the technical management and quality processes, and the facilities involved in maintenance of aircraft, engines and components in an airline operating under the approval of any of the major regulatory authorities.

At the completion of this unit, students will have developed a fundamental understanding of the regulatory and business dynamics of an airline operating under the approval of the European Joint Aviation Authorities, the USA Federal Aviation Authority and the Austalian Civil Aviation Safety Authority.
