At the completion of this unit, students will be able to: Develop an appreciation of the variety of accounting theoriesAppraise the relevance of the conceptual framework to the accounting standardsInvestigate implementation issues of a number of accounting standardsAssess the impact of changing enterprise governance and social and environmental issues on accountingInterpret the conceptual framework requirements and apply them to accounting issuesProvide theory based advice on a range of accounting judgements
