Diploma of International Business (full-time)
This course focuses on the various strategies involved in moving into overseas markets and the methods utilised in engaging in overseas business. The diploma level will open careers in the operational, frontline, middle management and supervisory roles of all business and commercial ventures. Specifically the international trade/service areas of shipping, marketing, freight, forwarding and customs.
 
Diploma of International Business (fast-track)*
An eight month Fast Track program is available for full-time employees wanting to progress their career in export/import operations and management. The program consists of eight, one day workshops plus face-to-face tutorials, online learning and web based resouces that enable learners to apply theoretical concepts and applications directly to their workplace environment. All major assessments will be linked to learner's workplace industry.
 
*Note that international students holding a student visa are required to study full-time.


Diploma of International Business (full-time)
The course aims to provide the knowledge, skills, and attributes for participants wishing to buy and sell goods and services on the international market.
 
Diploma of International Business (fast-track)
To equip up-and-coming executives with the necessary tools to grow their careers in international business and marketing using an accelerated 'pracademic' program within an eight month timeframe.


Diploma of International Business (full-time)
The Diploma in International Business incorporates the Certificate IV in International Trade and is the second stage in the Advanced Diploma of International Business. Before commencing the diploma level, students must successfully complete the Certificate IV subjects.
 
Diploma of International Business (fast-track)
To attain the diploma, students must complete eight units plus a capstone project incorporating a business/marketing plan for a product or service relevant to the learner's place of employment and industry.

Satisfactory completion of the Swinburne College English for Academic Purposes Upper Intermediate level certificate at the Pathways level (EAP 4: Pathways -60%); OR, obtaining a minimum IELTS overall band of 5.5 (Academic Module) with no individual band below 5.0; OR, a TOEFL (Paper-based) minimum score of 527 (with a Test of Written English (TWE) score of 4.5); OR, a TOEFL Computer-based) minimum score of 196 (with Written Writing score of 4.5); OR, a TOEFL (Internet-based) minimum score of 71 with no band less than 18.
