The Certificate IV in Frontline Management provides entry level skills and knowledge of management. As a graduate, your career path will include supervisiory and team leadership roles in large and small organisations. You may already have technical qualifications but need additional management skills to advance your career. Alternatively, the qualification is a pathway to the Diploma of Management and higher education.


This certificate offers a broad range of study areas relevant to current business needs, including recruitment and induction of staff, operational planning, team work, customer service, managing risk, occupational health and safety and budgeting.


On-campus full-time and part-time programs
The full-time program is designed for post VCE students seeking entry level employment or a pathway to the Diploma and higher education.
The part-time evening program is designed for the currently employed who want to support their career path with a management qualification.

Online

Traineeships
Traineeships in the Certificate IV in Frontline Management are available for people whose workplace will support their learning at work .

Enterprise programs
The qualification can be customised to enterprise requirements for those working within organisations who wish to further develop management skills and knowledge. Typically, the program begins with a training needs analysis and skills assessment followed by customisation of training and assessment to ensure the program meets the strategic goals of the organisation. Learning interventions may include project-based learning, coaching, mentoring, workshops, self-paced and online learning materials. These programs are designed to provide return on training investment. Just ask us.

Satisfactory completion of the Swinburne College English for Academic Purposes Upper Intermediate level certificate at the Pathways level (EAP 4: Pathways -60%); OR, obtaining a minimum IELTS overall band of 5.5 (Academic Module) with no individual band below 5.0; OR, a TOEFL (Paper-based) minimum score of 527 (with a Test of Written English (TWE) score of 4.5); OR, a TOEFL Computer-based) minimum score of 196 (with Written Writing score of 4.5); OR, a TOEFL (Internet-based) minimum score of 71 with no band less than 18.
