The Certificate IV in Business Administration reflects the role of individuals who use well-developed administrative skills and a broad knowledge base in a wide variety of administrative contexts. They apply solutions to a defined range of unpredictable problems, and analyse and evaluate information from a variety of sources.

Students will learn to produce complex business documents and spreadsheets, and will learn about information systems, researching, organising business travel, customer service, occupational health and safety, and innovation and leadership.
 
(International students are required to study full-time and on campus.)

Job roles and titles vary across different industry sectors but may include: team leader, accounts supervisor, executive personal assistant, office administrator, project assistant, junior personal assistant, office administration assistant, personal assistant, and office supervisor.
 
After completing the Certificate IV you may seek employment or progress to the Diploma of Business Administration and eventually to Higher Education.

Satisfactory completion of the Swinburne College English for Academic Purposes Upper Intermediate level certificate at the Pathways level (EAP 4: Pathways -60%); OR, obtaining a minimum IELTS overall band of 5.5 (Academic Module) with no individual band below 5.0; OR, a TOEFL (Paper-based) minimum score of 527 (with a Test of Written English (TWE) score of 4.5); OR, a TOEFL Computer-based) minimum score of 196 (with Written Writing score of 4.5); OR, a TOEFL (Internet-based) minimum score of 71 with no band less than 18.
