The Certificate III in Retail will open up career opportunities in the retail sector. It will provide you with training and industry experience, and prepare you to undertake supervisory roles in a variety of retail settings. You will learn effective sales techniques, creative merchandising, customer service, and administrative and team leadership skills.


This course will broaden and deepen participants' retail knowledge and expertise and will prepare them to take responsibility for coordinating/supervising the work of others as they begin to assume more responsibility in a retail environment.


To achieve a Certificate III in Retail, participants must must satisfactorily complete 10 competencies comprised of 3 core units and 7 elective units. 
 
Campus Certificate III Program to be delivered over two days for the full semester.

Satisfactory completion of the Swinburne College English for Academic Purposes Upper Intermediate level certificate at the Pathways level (EAP 4: Pathways -60%); OR, obtaining a minimum IELTS overall band of 5.5 (Academic Module) with no individual band below 5.0; OR, a TOEFL (Paper-based) minimum score of 527 (with a Test of Written English (TWE) score of 4.5); OR, a TOEFL Computer-based) minimum score of 196 (with Written Writing score of 4.5); OR, a TOEFL (Internet-based) minimum score of 71 with no band less than 18.
